In 1973 Marge Page organized the Wichita Junior Golf Foundation to give low-income children an opportunity to learn the game of golf. She donated or raised the money to pay for green fees, lessons and equipment for the 10–17-year-old golfers, and arranged for them to play and take lessons at public courses on eight Mondays over the summer. Three decades later, the Wichita Junior Golf Foundation serves as many as 900 youngsters each year.
Mrs. Page passed away in August 2012 at the age of 90.
